Hi, I am Roxanne
Aspiring UX designer — crafting experiences that are meaningful and accessible to everyone.
I’m someone who’s always been drawn to understanding why things work the way they do — whether that’s how people use a product, how a team communicates, or how a random hobby suddenly clicks.
Outside of design, I’m the kind of person who’s always mid-way through learning something new — these days it’s knitting, and a few months ago it was spending a week aboard a sailboat, learning to actually sail it myself. Add a semester spent living and studying in Norway, and you’ll understand why stepping outside my comfort zone has become a bit of a habit.
I’m endlessly curious and genuinely love diving into topics I know nothing about, just to see where they lead.
What ties it all together? I think good design starts with genuine curiosity about people — and I bring that same energy to everything I do.
Background
A hybrid path between human behavior and digital design
2025 - 2027
Master's degree focused on human-centered design and user research methods, complemented by a 6-month academic exchange at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where I specialized in Computer Science
2023 - 2025
ORBIS France is a digital transformation consultancy specialized in the industrial sector — helping manufacturing, logistics, and automotive companies modernize their operations through SAP-based and proprietary software solutions (ERP, MES, smart factory tools).
As Digital Marketing Officer for two years, I owned the company's online visibility: website content and SEO, social media strategy, and both internal and external communication. I also contributed hands-on HTML/CSS development to maintain and improve the site. This role required close coordination with the marketing team at the German parent company, giving me experience working cross-culturally and aligning content strategy across markets.
2022 - 2025
Specialization in Digital Communication Strategy and UX Design
This three-year program didn't just teach me a set of tools — it taught me to think across an entire digital ecosystem. I learned to move seamlessly from strategy to execution: shaping how a brand communicates, building the technical foundation of a website, designing the experience a user actually lives through, and giving it visual life through video and motion. That constant back-and-forth between disciplines is what shaped me into a genuinely hybrid profile — someone who doesn't just design an experience, but understands what it takes to build and communicate it. It's a foundation that still shapes how I approach UX today.
